Roe vs. Wade
May 8, 2022, 9:00 PM

This past week it was shown the Supreme Court tentatively may overturn Roe v. Wade.  For any God-fearing person, this is good news.  May we continue to pray for our Supreme Court and Country, for it is RIGHTEOUNESS which exalts a nation – Proverbs 14:34.

After the release from a media source that this decision will be overturned, we are again hearing the cries of choice.  Let us remember; they do have a choice as well as the man.  They have a choice to be intimately involved with someone.  When you make the choice to be intimately involved with someone, you need to take ownership of the consequences which can happen.  If you become pregnant, stand up as a genuine caring human being and raise the child you willingly created.

As we know, God’s Word is the wise way to live life.  There are warnings of the sin of adultery and fornication.  In following God’s Word in obedience, a person will not be intimate in any way until marriage.  In marriage you can raise children in a loving home.  God’s ways are always the best.

Now, some might say, “What about rape and incest?”  Yes, we agree this is a horrible sin and crime.  Our stance is the government should increase the penalties for such crimes. If we have swift and harsh penalties for a rapist, it will reduce the crime.  Don’t believe us?  Look at some other countries who have very stiff penalties for driving while intoxicated and you will find very little offenders.  We have numerous offenders of this crime because of the lack of punishment.

Now for the woman who unfortunately finds herself as a victim of such a horrendous act.  An abortion won’t take the pain away.  Every day they will be reminded of this horrible act whether with the child or not.  What we are asking is bring the child to term, allow a loving family to adopt the child and let something good (life) come out of this horrendous ordeal.

In summary, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, came that they might have life….in this regard, we choose life.

John 10:10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
