Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner

In 2016, we decided to hold a Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner at the Crivitz Village Hall.  We knew it would require a lot of work, but much to our surprise, the community stepped up and volunteered.  Each year many people have volunteered to help serve, which has made this event a huge success.

Many wonder who may attend this dinner?  As the title says, it is open to the community.  It doesn't matter if you have somewhere to go or no where to go.  We want to bring community back, so stop on by and meet your community.  There is no cost and the food is great!  Served are the traditional Thanksgiving foods such as turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy and cranberries.  You will also find apple and pumpkin pie.

Each year the meal is held on Thanksgiving Day during the hours of 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  The usual spot is the Crivitz Village Hall.  However, in 2020, due to the COVID pandemic, we were unable to hold it at the Village Hall.  However, the Crivitz American Legion stepped up and allowed us to utilize their building, providing a pick-up only meal.

We are looking forward to and already planning the 2021 meal.  As the time draws nearer, we will post more information.  However, you can be assured, come Thanksgiving Day in 2021, we will be preparing a wonderful meal for our community.  For more information, please contact
